Kamstra Bakery has been around since 1953 and was founded in Luttelgeest and was active as a traditional baker in the early years with deliveries to supermarkets. When they started to specialize in catering bread, the bakery in Luttelgeest quickly became too small and in 1994 she moved to new premises in Wolvega. In 2008 the bakery was expanded with a new freezer.

We are an independent bread bakery specialized in baking catering bread. We bake our products on trays in traditional bakery ovens. In addition to care and craftsmanship, we give our products time throughout the entire production process in order to get the best result. The motto is to make products that suit the professional entrepreneur and are eaten as a treat by every consumer.


The bakery fully meets modern requirements.

More sustainable through and with natural refrigerants.

By reusing the heat released during the cooling and freezing process, we save considerable on heating costs. In addition, with this heat recovery we reduce CO2 emissions, because less energy is used, which in turn contributes to making our bakery more sustainable.
